CAPITAL CAMPAIGN

Project History: In 2002, a strategic planning process identified the need for a more spacious modern facility for the Academy. Land donated by an alumna, Joyce Bischoff Schneider, provided the foundation for a new 12 million dollar, 24-acre campus at 5801 Fegenbush Lane. We announced the Dream, Believe and Achieve project and campaign in October of 2005, and the official groundbreaking took place on June 10, 2006. On August 17, 2007 the new campus opened for classes and we announced Phase II of our capital campaign, Fields of Dreams. The Fields of Dreams campaign exists to raise the remaining funds needed to finish the campus including the playing fields, tennis courts, outdoor athletic equipment storage and concessions building, supplemental parking and walking/running track.

Project Goals:  The overall goal of the Dream, Believe and Achieve project is to build a state-of-the-art, integrated campus for young women that provides our students the space they need for specialized scholastic and fine-arts programs, secure parking and on-campus athletic facilities. Our goal is to have the campus, including the outdoor athletic complex, completed by September 24, 2010, Mercy Day and our 125th anniversary!
